If you wanted a styled desktop bring elements of what you do, for example bringing a laptop, phone or ipad for social shots. Also fresh flowers, books, pens, a coffee mug and anything that will show a bit of personality and tie into your brand.
I am up for anywhere but I love the Winter Park/Hannibal square area. There is a lot of variety in landscapes, walls and backgrounds to work with.
If you want more "in office" at the desk type style we can also do these at my office in downtown Longwood.
I have a few colored walls to add that perfect pop of color and texture.

1. Is what I’m wearing a representation of who I am or my business? Ask yourself, if a client saw me in this outfit, would they recognize and want to work with me? Hopefully this is a big yes!
2. If your brand colors can work into an outfit, is it important to do so? Will you want to use your images for your branding and how will they pair with your message? Branding colors are always great to work into wardrobe any accessories, this helps tie in a cohesive look on your social media platforms as well as website.
3. Is your message polished, casual, fun, approachable and professional? Consider some buzzwords that are important for you to convey visually.
4. Is there texture and depth to my outfit choice? Do I stand out/provide intrigue or am I hiding in this outfit? Textured elements such a denim, tulle, leather or chunky sweaters add a great visual appeal, as do mixing in textures with accessories such as gold, silver or rose gold if used in your branding colors.
5. When you put your photo shoot outfit on ask yourself, am I comfortable and confident with how I feel in this? If you are uncomfortable or second-guessing your choice, that will show in your photos and take away from the fabulous boss lady that you are!
6. Solid colors and subtle prints work best. Usually big bold prints and small stripes do not photograph well. Speaking of colors did you know that color has a powerful subconscious effect on every part of our lives, without even saying a word; an understanding of color meanings in business gives us an invaluable tool to get the best response to your marketing and promotional efforts.
Personally, I suggest that you wear whatever you feel most fabulous and beautiful in, because that added confidence boost will show in your pictures. I love when our clients add small details like, bright or unique jewelry to match their branding colors.
A fun print on a dress or top etc. Choose something that is comfortable and suits your style, wear what you love and feel great in.
I say it is usually best to bring at least two to three outfits and that way we have some variety to pick from every if we only shoot in two outfits. For head shot only sessions you will only need one outfit.
Red: A physical color which calls for action to be taken. It's high energy, powerful, draws attention to itself and demands to be noticed.
Magenta/pink: A practical yet spiritual color. Compassionate and kind, it encourages a balanced outlook based on common sense. It is a non-threatening color used most often in feminine businesses.
Orange:A color of adventure, which inspires and creates enthusiasm. It is optimistic and sociable and suggests affordability.
Yellow: An illuminating and uplifting color, which stimulates our analytical processes and assists with mental clarity.
Green: Associated with nature, health and healing. It balances the emotions and inspires compassion.
Blue :The safest color to use in most businesses. It implies honesty, trust and dependability. Recharges the emotions and inspires good communication skills and self-expression.
Purple: Implies wealth, quality, fantasy and creativity. It worked well with many other colors.
Get yourself pampered with fresh nails and a pedicure if you will be wearing open toed shoes. Hair and makeup is always something I highly suggest. My makeup artist and stylist Simone is amazing!! If you have already booked a session and didn't include hair and makeup, I will be happy to set this up for you if you decide to do so. You’ll walk away with a look ready for the camera!
It’s nearly impossible to resist the urge to tan prior to your session, but when it comes to photos there are so many benefits to keeping your skin it’s luminous natural glow. Applying a spray tan coats the skin and makes it photograph dull and murky. Plus, it’s really hard to work around those stubborn areas that catch the color – like hands, fingers and neck. So enjoy however pale or deep your skin is and you’ll see how radiant it looks in photos and if you must take 10-15 minutes the day before your session and sit in the sun to get a little glow.
